The Clients are wholesale supplier of Vegetable, Fruits and Grocery items to Restaurants, the Canteens at Colleges & Factories (“Buyers”). The Clients own a shop at the Koyambedu wholesale market at Chennai (The largest wholesale vegetable market of Asia) and has presence in the business for the past 12 years

The Clients have acquired new buyers for supply of Vegetable, Fruit & Grocery items in Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore cities and has requirement for working capital facility.
Instead of funding the working capital requirement, GHL India will act as Sole Selling Agent and deliver the required Vegetable, Fruit & Groceries to the Clients. The Clients will make onward sales to the Buyers.
India is the world's second-largest producer of fruits and vegetables.
The tropical climate here in India guarantees the availability of fruits and vegetables every season.
Revenue in the Vegetable market amounts to US$97.7bn in 2023.
India alone produced 204.61 million tonnes of vegetables and 107.10 million tonnes of fruits last year.
The entire funding is secured by charge creation with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) in favour of the SPV by way of hypothecation of the entire stock and accounts receivable.
The supplier has issued PDC for the total value of goods.
The SPV has the joint authorization to operate the current account of the supplier until repayment of the Principal and profit.
